See amazing sights, explore stunning beaches, splash around in waterfalls, swim with whale sharks, snorkel the crystal clear waters, discover the Filipino culture and enjoy the best sunsets of your life. Meet the locals, kayak through caves, take the leap of cliff jumping, relax in a lagoon, indulge in delicious food and party the night away.
Day 1: Manila
Welcome to the Philippines! Upon your arrival at Manila airport, your group leader will be there ready and waiting to take you back to our hotel. Tonight we will have a welcome dinner and drinks with the rest of the Wanderlands Groupies, but today is about relaxing and settling in after that long flight, so hit the streets for some shopping or just head out to explore some of the local sites.
Day 2: El Nido
Today it’s a group breakfast and orientation talk so we can give you a full rundown of what you can expect from your Wanderlands Philippines trip. Bellies full we board our first flight of the tour and make our way to one of the best islands in the world, Palawan. As soon as we land we will travel by private bus to El Nido. Once checked in we’ll head out for a feed and a few beverages with all your new-found friends as a group and check out some of the coolest beach bars in El Nido.
Day 3: El Nido
Today is about catching your breath, working on your tan on a stunning cream sand beach decorated with coconut trees and reflecting on where you are. We will take most of the day to relax after the journey taken to get to El Nido and enjoy some beach games with the rest of your awesome Wanderlands groupies.
Day 4: El Nido
The Philippines is famed for its many beautiful islands and today we get to explore some of them. We’ll spend the day on our local boat whilst stopping off at some truly stunning beaches, where we can enjoy some snorkelling and kayaking. We also get the chance to visit the breathtaking ‘Small and Big Lagoons’ which are among some of the most picturesque places on the planet!

Day 5: El Nido
El Nido is home for the day and this coastal settlement which boasts clear waters, jungle, steep limestone cliffs and stunning coves, it is also a major tourist destination on the island of Palawan so there is plenty to do here if sunning yourself isn’t your thing. Head out and get a massage, hit the shops for some retail therapy or simply explore all of what El Nido has to offer.
Day 6: El Nido/Cebu
R&R over it’s time to get on the move again, so get ready for a long day of travelling. We take a five-hour bus back to Puerto Princesa today where we board another quick one-hour flight to Cebu. From Cebu, we drive four-hours to Moalboal, which is our home for the next three nights. Once checked in we will have time to explore the area and enjoy a well-earned dinner and an early night after such a long day.
Day 7: Cebu
Rested and refreshed from a good night’s sleep, we head deep into the hills of Cebu to visit some of the Philippines most beautiful waterfalls. Cool down in the crystal clear azure waters of Kasawan falls, which is one of many natural springs in the area, we jump in and cool off in these stunning lagoons and get some pictures that will make your friends back home seriously jealous.
Day 8: Cebu
Today we head out for a truly unforgettable experience – we jump in the water to swim with the huge (but very friendly) whale sharks. Bring your underwater camera, as trust us you will want to remember this forever. After we dry off it’s back on the bus back to Moalboal where we will snorkel with thousands of sardines on a “sardine run” – this will take your breath away!
Day 9: Cebu
This morning we hop on our bus and make our way back to Cebu City, where we board our last flight of the tour to visit our final destination – the stunning island of Boracay. Arriving by evening, we will all enjoy dinner together before heading out to experience Boracay’s crazy beachfront for a night of partying and good times! You can’t beat a party on the beach! // Bohol This morning, we hop on our bus and make our way to Argao port, where we take a ferry to our final destination – the beautiful island of Bohol. Arriving by mid-afternoon, we’ll take some time to refresh before heading out for dinner and experiencing the nightlife here. You’ll be surprised at the contrast between the sleepy daytime atmosphere and the social fun-filled evenings.
Day 10: Boracay
Life is better at the beach and today we make the most of it; we get the chance to take a well-earned rest and work on topping up our tans at Boracay beach. Today is for full-on beach chill-out vibes, so grab yourself a drink, lounge about or even play some beach games in the sun for a while, as we all enjoy this stunning setting, which has been listed as one of the worlds best beaches.
Day 11: Boracay
On Day 11 we head out on our very own local sailing boat and sail around the beautiful island of Boracay. We get the chance to explore some hidden beaches and snorkel in the blue quartz waters, and we will enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. In the evening, we enjoy our farewell meal and party, which is the perfect way to end an unforgettable tour.
Day 12: Boracay
It’s time to say goodbye and end our unforgettable 12-day trip! After check out your group leader will sit down with you, and help plan any onward travel whether you plan to stay in the Philippines, visit other destinations in South East Asia or just go home we are here to help and assist you with your next adventure.
Our tour departs every Monday. From June – September our tours will not be operated in the Philippines due to the monsoon season!
NYE tour will be running on the 28th December and cost $2349
– Transport back to Manila
The main way to get back to Manila is by flight.
There are two airports that are available. Caticlan and Kalibo.
Flights from Caticlan are more expensive compared to Kalibo but Caticlan will take about 1 – 1 ½ hour where Kalibo will take 2 ½ – 3 hours to get to.
· Boracay to Caticlan is 1 1/2 hours and costs 50 – 60 pesos (includes boat to mainland and transport to the airport)
· Boracay to Kalibo is 2 1/2 hours and costs 100 – 120 pesos (includes boat to mainland and transport to the airport)
In regards to booking flights after the tour, we suggest booking your onward flight to leave from Manila after 7 pm local time. Then get a mid-morning flight to leave from Boracay to Manila on the last day leaving you plenty of time to get to the airport from Boracay to Manila.
